Barack Hussain Obama 1961 was the first African American and the 44th President of the USA from 2009 to 2017. He was awarded the Noble Peace Prize in 2009 for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and Cooperation for establishing World Peace. “Yes We Can” is his victory speech, at Grant Park in his home city of Chicago on November 4th 2008, for Unity among the people of the U.S.A. to resolve the issues of America with the hope and will power. The speech is extremely inspiring, motivating the fellow Americans.

In his speech Obama thanked his Senator Mc Cain, his wife Michelle Obama, his children, his vice president Joe Biden, his campaign manager David Pluoffe and his strategist David Axelrod for their Untiring efforts and support in his election campaign. This speech is about change, reaching for a higher purpose and Uniting to solve the problems in America. He mentions ideals, democracy, liberty, justice, equality. Opportunity and prosperity which are factors of that of the American Dream. The Phrase “Yes, We Can” is used by Obama while describing Ann Nixon Cooper, an Old Woman of Atlanta, aged 106 years who cast her vote by standing is a queue alone for hours on the scorching heat.

Obama has taken this Old woman as an example how America developed. Obama said if the people of America are to live so many years as of that Old woman, then there is a great task ahead. Then the Americans have to strive hard to open avenues, open new employment opportunities to the unemployed American youth, to remove slavery, to restore prosperity and peace, to reclaim the American Dream and reaffirm the fundamental truth that out of many we are one. To those who are negative is thought and say we can’t let’s prove by working hard together, that we can, we are one – “Yes We Can”.

Finally Obama prayed that God might bless the United States of America.

Barack Obama was the first to win Presidential election of America from the black race, belonging to African American. He led campaigns against racialism. So in his speech he expressed his thanks to the people for voting him to power. He thanked all who helped him win the election including his wife first lady America, his children, brothers and sisters. He also mentioned of his late mother is his speech as bestowing him her blessings. Above all he praised an old woman of Atlanta, aged 106 yrs. Who had cast her vote by standing in queue alone others on the scorching heat.

He has taken her examples to show her choice for black race, of African American. He had also taken her as example to show how America developed. From an era of racialism to reformed one. From a period of denial of rights to woman to the getting equal rights. From an undeveloped America to developed one. If the children of America have to live long as the old woman is the example many developments have to be made like increasing schools, creating employment opportunities and so on. He said that they were one of many is the world. The prosperity of America as specific, and promote the cause of peace. And he warned those of destructive cause that they will be defeated. To the people who disagree with his decisions taken as president he said to cooperate with him and he was ready to mend the same if necessary. He called everyone to work hard for prosperity. Everyone is assured of democracy and liberty. To those who say we can't let us bind ourselves by working hard together, that we can, Yes We Can.

She was born just generation past slavery. There were no cars, no aeroplanes and she was deprived of all rights of freedom for woman and she was discriminated as black and was deprived of voting. He said that she had seen many odds and falls and rises. She had seen many developments during her life running of buses is the cities, and man touching moon.
